is way too often what a kid is called who's for some
reason
not happy & are acting "uncontrollable".
Drugs
are too simple of an answer
for such a complex situation.
There
are many factors to consider
before taking chemical medications:
1)
often times various ones have to be tested before
proper type &
doses are some how achieved.
2)
Long term
unhealthy side effects, especially physically
to the liver. Emotionally, to the self-esteem for being labeled "sick"
and the various "learning problems" often times are made worse
with the drugs, as their senses are dulled and thinking becomes unclear.
Why
not take the same route of experimentation
with the alternative path?
It has no side effects & when it is supervised
with a
Healer of experience in such matters and with various
nutrients that have
shown to be helpful to
kids of all ages who "seem" unable to concentrate linearly.
They
are artists and they have a different kind of mind,
not a "sick" mind, just a different one than education had
cultivated with it's linear approach.
They are quite possibly psychic and even creative genesis
if empowered to find their gifts!
We
all need self esteem & healthy nutrition to grow in a healthy
way!
The
alternative path includes these focuses.
To
break the will or not to -
that is the question!
and the answer is-
There
is always a good reason
for bad behavior
and all too often it is a cry for help.
So, instead
of outward disciplining-
which
never works really, without unhealthy side effects
(especially
on smart, creative, overly sensitive and
most
likely psychic, kids- which most ADD kids are.)
With
outward disciplining they respond by taking either of these two roles
and volley back & forth between the two:
the
rebel- When things seem unfair by those who
care for them they are drawn to hurting others
(becoming a bully as a way of getting back at the ones
who bully them, through hurting younger siblings,
or smaller kids).
In addition they may develop self destructive habits
(a smoke, a drink, eating too much, etc.) that are
confused as "rewards" that they give themselves because they
will go against the "rules" of person(s) who they feel they
must rebel from.
the victim - they
mainly use self-destructive habits

Often times they attempt to be the "good kid" and
focus on other people's needs while they ignore their own. (This may
lead to an outburst of rebel energy.)
Many
good stories are about the rebel and/or the victim
who rises up and becomes the hero.
We are living in a time when we all
need to be heros to help our planet
to evolve into a healthy, peaceful place.
Cultivating self discipline-
teaching & modeling verbal, psychic, emotional,
& physical self-defense.
(a martial arts training with a kind & wise teacher
is the best thing a parent can do for an "ADD" kid.)
This
comes as we cultivate the will with wisdom, using unconditional love
as our guide - seeking
to empower
kids into seeing for themselves what is best for them
and
why.
This teaches them to trust their natural instincts
to be attracted to and do good things
for
themselves.
If we force them to do, what we think is good for them,
even if it is - they will always have a block against doing good things
for
themselves, themselves. And as stated above- they will either,
rebel as a reaction
to the forced behavior, in order to reconnect
with their spirit, or they loose their ability
to create the life they want in the future, and became subservient in
all their relationships
throughout their lives or volley back & forth
which looks like Manic-Depression
to the medical community.
Through a parent being a living example
in their own life of how they live
regarding healthy habits
and coping with stress, and accomplishing goals.
A child naturally gets in touch with who they really are,
and they come to
see who they want to become -
and they have real confidence to know that
they
can
become it & they easily can do what's best for them, naturally if
we empower them to see that they can,
they will continue to.
Giving them choices over personal decisions:
what to eat, wear, do for fun
(negotiating fairly so that the child's needs are
within reason & the context of the parents flow and needs and making
sure to keep educating them about their body, mind, and heart's needs,
so they can make wise decisions) allowing them to have the
dignity of being heard, & their voice being considered in negotiations
that
concerns them creates good decision makers for their own lives.
This gives living proof to the message
that is often said but not lived
between parents & their kids.

INSTEAD
OF THE NORM WHICH IS:
(epically for ADD
kids)
"You don't know
what's best for you, I must discipline you,
until you know what
is best, and if you don't do it,
you will be punished."
Again,
this causes kids to rebel
or loose their spark of selfhood
which
later creates several behavior problems,
meanness and self-destructive behaviors including not being able to
commit to a relationship or career path &/or later being labeled
with what is being called:Manic-Depression or for those who've lost
their spark of self-hood they become the ones who are labeled with Chronic
depression
These are labels for those who are highly sensitive
and are not being understood
by authority figures in early development.
We
are so much more than chemicals & brains-
if we laugh, the whole brain chemical changes.
We are here to grow, & these people are sensitive,
and being misunderstood they are not "sick".
The Medical community,
(who hardly studies nutrition) mostly thinks
the answer is to admit that you have a disease,
and through acknowledging
that it's one that you will never heal from and taking your medication
all your life, you may have a "manageable life".
All
this does is set people on the path of medication to
"cope" with the "sickness" all your life and this path only makes them
sicker.
What
a profitable business!!!
Once
we begin to understand that
humans were never meant to go about their lives at
the stressful pace we now call "normal"!
And
that we all can heal, if we take the time to do so.
When traumatic stuff comes up,
we need to take time off to deal with it.
In other cultures, one would be told to go on a walk
about
to review & regain ones life vision.
Unconscious
behaviors can be healed if we understand
the whole picture of who we are:
eternal beings of many life times,
that are here to grow spiritually and
get free of all that keeps us
from that growth.
Being grateful to all the blessings in our lives-
&
reconnecting the disconnects of our childhood helps A LOT.
Letting the inner mother & Father nurture
& direct the inner child, for
a balanced inner family.
This
is the path to healing.
The
following are a list of factors that can contribute to ADD.
If a child has a low score on all of these factors,
they are likely to exhibit some
or all of the symptoms of what is now called "ADD".
Dietary
contributors to ADD symptoms:
1.
Way too much refined sugar intake
{use: Grade B maple Syrup &
Sucanat
(dehydrated sugar cane juice)}
They may have a yeast imbalance as well that are adding to the
behaviors as well, and yeast feeds on the sugars- acidophilus
helps this as well as taking a Yeast balancing supplements.

4.

as well as depleting the immune & digestive system of friendly
